Cranksgiving Day Ride in the Woo! Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part scavenger hunt. All you need is a bicycle, a lock, and a bag! Meet at noon at "Turtle Boy" statue on Worcester Common behind City Hall for instructions and manifest. Get ready to ride around the city to grocery stores from a list to buy groceries for a local agency helping people make ends meet. This ride is FREE, but you’ll need $15-20 to purchase groceries. Bring a lock, panniers or backpack to carry groceries (about 6 to 8 items), and a light for riding back from the ride after-party (location to be announced). Riders can work independently or in groups. Cranksgiving is a national movement that occurs in nearly 100 cities across the United States. Visit www.cranksgiving.org for more locations.Worcester, MA
