This will be a first-time event in Wilmington! Cranksgiving arrives in Wilmington in 2025! Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels; it is also an annual event occurring in over 100 cities and towns across the USA and Canada. Join us for the CFC Cranksgiving Ride, a chance to give back while doing what we love—riding! The 9.6-mile route begins and ends at Greenfield Lake Park (parking lot accessible from Lake Shore Drive/Park Ave) and includes stops at several grocery stores, where riders will purchase food items to donate to Food Bank CENC at Wilmington and / or Good Shepherd Center. There is no entry fee but please bring money (suggested $15-20) or credit card to purchase food items to be donated. Helmets required! Equip your bike with panniers, expandable saddle bag or handlebar bag or simply bring a daypack to carry the items you purchase. Post-ride get-together at The Harp with live music 2-4 pm. Cranksgiving is a wonderful way to show gratitude for the blessings of health, community, and the simple joy of cycling. Come ride with us and help make a difference!Wilmington, NC
