Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part madcap scavenger hunt. All you need is a bicycle, a lock and a bag! This event is FREE, but you'll need $15-$20 to purchase food. Donations will support the Tempe Community Action Agency's Food Pantry.

We'll start at Saltfire Brewing's patio where you can register, air up, and grab a drink or bathroom break before the start.  We'll provide each person or group a manifest that will include local grocer locations, suggested food items, start/finish times, and the categories for those who wish to compete. Then, pedal the streets - solo or with a group - as you hunt down the recommended food items listed on the manifest. Once you've collected your items, make your way over to the food pantry where we'll organize and weigh the food to determine our final weight total for the day! Finally, join us for a group ride back to the starting point for food, drink, and the final tally of how much weight was carried in total by bike and award prizes.
