Come out and ride for a cause.

Pitman Cranksgiving carries on the nationwide tradition of riding around Thanksgiving to purchase groceries for those in need.

This year we will be starting at The Caffeinated Cyclist, where any last minute items can be purchased.

A list of needed items will be provided day of, and all donations will go to Angels Community Outreach a local organization providing groceries and supplies to those in need. If you cannot make it for the ride day of, please consider making either a monetary or supplies donation.

We will be ending our ride at Endgrain Coffee Roasters in close proximity to the event start. Coffee, tea, other beverages and baked goods are available here.

The suggested route is 23 miles, stopping at two grocery stores along the way. This is generally a ‘ride your own pace’ ride, but this will be led as a group ride for those who would like to stick together. Riders are encouraged to stop at both stores but are free to stop at just one if needed. A vehicle will be at each location for you to deposit purchases.
