Let's do it again! This year, we're Cranksgiving for Highjinx!

What is Cranksgiving? It is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part madcap scavenger hunt. All you need is a bicycle, a lock, and a bag! This event is FREE, but you'll need $15-$20 to purchase food. Donations will support Highjinx, where neighbours help neighbours in need.

Pedal, jog or walk the streets of our beautiful city as you search for specific items that make up a Thanksgiving dinner and beyond. Once you've collected all items and arrived at the finish, this feast will be donated to our city's most needy. Cranksgiving occurs in nearly 100 cities across the United States. In 2022, it was the inaugural year of our Nation's Capital. We raised over 1,200 POUNDS of frozen turkey and fresh vegetables and fruit.

Items in need:

Frozen turkey, potatoes, sweet potatoes, canned cranberry sauce, canned gravy, oranges, apples, and any sweet treats such as pies and cookies.

Please bring your items to Clocktower pub in Westboro on October 1st, between 10:30-12.
