Cranksgiving NYC was the first... it's the OG... it's where all this started.

And for the 21st year, (SERIOUSLY, CRANKSGIVING NYC IS TURNING 21!) we're inviting cyclists in the NYC area to meet up with a bike, a bag, and a lock, in order to ride across Manhattan and support the hungry and homeless.

  • No registration fees - the only money you'll spend will be on the food that you're donating to the Bowery Mission.
  • No rules - pick your own routes, ride at your own speed, just have a SAFE time and we'll see you at the end.
  • No expectations - we've seen riders who have never ridden in NYC come out on a CitiBike and still have a great time alongside seasoned NYC bike messengers; we're here to help the community not to show one another up.

This year's race is being organized at the last moment due to some miscommunication, but it's still going to be a great time. We're working on prizes (so far we already have a free tandem skydive from Skydive Sussex donated to the race) but this isn't about winning stuff; it's about giving back to the community, so we hope to see everyone out there!
