Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part madcap scavenger hunt. All you need is a bicycle, a lock, some cash, and a bag! This event is $5 (with the option of a sweet t-shirt for $15), and you'll need $15-$20 to purchase food. Donations will support Hawkeye Harvest. Event begins at 10:30 on November 13 at Lorado's in Mason City. Chili will be provided for a free will donation. Pedal the streets and trails of Mason City as you search for ingredients that make up a Thanksgiving dinner - or a regular dinner! Once you've collected items from different stores and arrived at the finish, this feast will be donated to our town's most needy.
