On Sunday, November 16th- join Table to Table, CommUnity Crisis Services, the Iowa City Bike Library, and the amazing bike community of Iowa City (& beyond!) to participate in the 7th Annual Cranksgiving Iowa City. 

Cranksgiving is a two-wheeled food drive that blends community-building, giving, and adventure. Push your pedals with a purpose as you pack your bike bags with much-needed food and household items for CommUnity Food Bank at Pepperwood Plaza, Johnson County’s largest and busiest food pantry. You’ll navigate city streets, urban trails, and store aisles to find the specific items listed on the manifest (like a scavenger hunt shopping list). 

It costs zero dollars to register! You’ll need a bike, a helmet, a lock, and a bag (or basket or rack or cargo bike or trailer or other creative solution) to carry the goods. You’ll also need money to purchase food items and a charitable attitude!

This event is intended to be “easy like Sunday morning” (not a race).
