Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part madcap scavenger hunt. All you need is a bicycle, a lock and a bag! This event is FREE, but you'll need $15-$20 to purchase food. Donations will support Watkinson School and Hartford United Methodist Church Thanksgiving Food Drive, benefiting Hartford families. Pedal the streets and trails of Hartford as you search for specific ingredients that make up a Thanksgiving dinner. Once you've collected all items and arrived at the finish, this feast will be donated to needy families in the West End and beyond. We're largely setting this up as an individual race. We'd like to keep the Team option for groups with minors/children. But if you have a crew and want to organize, let's do it! We will meet up at Red Rock Tavern, 371 Capitol Ave, Hartford, CT starting around 10:30am on Saturday November 23rd for an 11am rollout. At that time you'll receive your manifest and we can prepare to start the ride.
