Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. All you need is a bicycle, a lock and a bag! Brought to you in Denver by RAR Front Range, Cranksgiving is a national event that occurs in over 100 cities across the United States and Canada. 

The Ride: Meet us at Treehouse Cyclery in Denver for a part-scavenger-hunt, food drive alleycat! Arrivals begin at Treehouse at 10 am, the alleycat ride starts at 10:30 (manifests will be handed out at 10:25). Bring ~$15-20 to purchase food for donation throughout the ride. A non-race group ride to purchase food for donation will be rolling out at 10:45. Food donations delivered by car will also be accepted! When all riders have returned, we'll roll out at 12:30 to deliver the food to the shelter.

Prizes will be awarded for two categories:

• Fastest alleycat finisher to return with a thanksgiving dinner of food (checklist provided day of)
• Most weight of food donated carried on a bike

The Gear Swap: In the spirit of thanksgiving, bring any excess gear/bike stuff/clothes that you have. We'll have tables and racks out. Bring something, take something. Suggested donation if you're not contributing is $5, which will go to expanding RAR Front Range's gear library! We'll open up the swap at 10 am, and wrap up when we go to donate food at 12:30.

Leftover clothing from the swap will be donated, leftover gear will go to the RAR Front Range/Treehouse Cyclery gear library.
