We're not going to let a pandemic stop us from helping those in need this holiday season! In order to keep everyone safe, though, Cranksgiving will look a bit different this year. There will be no defined start time or location (please do not park at the CRC Food Pantry to begin your ride!) and unfortunately no after party. We will simply provide you with a list of needed items to purchase and some recommended stores. Other than that, it's up to you! You can choose your own start time, route, distance to ride, and stores to visit. You're more than welcome to ride in groups with family or friends but ask that you please keep one another's safety in mind. Don't want to shop in person? No problem! We've worked with Kroger to make sure their locations will allow ClickList pickup by bike on Nov. 14! All items purchased by participants will be donated to the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center Food Pantry. This year riders will be dropping off items directly at the pantry. They will have staff on-site to receive donations between 10am and 1pm. Please do not park at the pantry to begin your ride! We'll be offering swag bags to our first 50 registered participants (minimum 10lb donation). These will include tons of great items from our local business partners! The person who hauls the most donations by weight will receive our grand prize: a $50 gift card donated by Johnny Velo Bikes (www.johnnyvelobikes.com)! We're also raffling off a brand new iZip Brio e-Bike (compliments of www.orbitcitybikes.com) with all ticket sales going directly to CRC! Tickets are only $10!
