𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠?
Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels that is part bike ride, part food drive, part scavenger hunt. All riders will be given a manifest with grocery store checkpoints and a list of non-perishable goods to be purchased for donation to Brazos Valley Food Bank.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠?⁣
Sunday, November 16th, 2025 at Aggieland Cycling
Registration begins at 1pm.
Ride begins at 2pm.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞?⁣
All you need to participate is a bike, bag/backpack/pannier/cargo bike (to carry groceries purchased), lock, helmet and a sense of adventure! Expect to spend ~$10-15 on non-perishable goods.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞?⁣Expect to ride ~10-13 miles long with 4 grocery stores checkpoints. There is no set route between the stores so knowledge of local streets or how to use google maps is very helpful. It is ok if you don't want to go to every checkpoint!

𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐞𝐞?⁣
Instead of a formal registration fee, we do ask for each participant to bring a personal care item to be donated when they register at the start of the race. The Brazos Valley Food Bank is always in need of shampoo, deodorant, diapers, paper towels and toilet paper.

𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞?⁣
Most riders do this ride as a scavenger hunt rather than a race. While some may choose to treat it as a race, there is no obligation to do so. The main focus of the ride is to have fun in the name of a worthy cause.

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬?⁣
Yes! All participants who purchase all items on the manifest are eligible for prizes, but the grand prize goes to the most generous rider. There will also be special trophies for the fastest rider, largest food item, coolest bike and more.
