Our fifth edition of Bournemouth's Cranksgiving returns! Bringing Cranksgiving to the UK and doing good for the community through a bike ride The ride is free to enter and open to all abilities. The goal is for riders to collect the food items on the shopping list provided from specific supermarkets in the area. The first rider to return with all of the items on the list is the winner. All food items collected is donated to local charity Hope for Food who provide food to those who need help with their basic essentials due to our current economic climate. Entry is free but riders must pay for their own items, this will total no more than £5. All riders must use lights, locks are recommended for when travelling in and out of shops. You will need a bag to carry your items. Helmets and hi visibility clothing is recommended. We have prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as fastest female and fastest fixed gear. Stay tuned for our list of sponsors Spectators are more than welcome, we will have music, drinks and bar snacks available during and after the ride. It is a wonderful feeling for riders to finish the ride to a large group of spectators so please join us if you can to cheer on these riders.
