Cranksgiving Boulder 2026: A Food Drive on Two Wheels
Part bike ride, part food drive, all for our neighbors. On Saturday, November 21, we’re riding all over Boulder to fill the shelves at Harvest of Hope Pantry before the holidays.
Let us know you're coming HERE!
How it works
Meet us at Upslope Brewing at 10 AM. You’ll get a list of the foods Harvest of Hope needs most. We'll cruise along the bike paths together, hit the grocery store, stock up, and pack it all onto our bikes. Then we ride the haul to Harvest of Hope together and drop it off. Seeing the shelves fill up is the best part of the day.
Ride it your way
Any bike, any pace, any setup is welcome: road, gravel, cargo, a cruiser with a milk crate, a kid trailer. We'll be rolling slow (especially once we're carrying food) and enjoying the day.
The contests
We’ve got great prizes from our sponsors for:
- Heaviest Haul: the most food (by weight) carried to the pantry on one bike
- Most Creative Carry: strapped, stacked, towed, bungeed, or something we’ve never seen before. Show us what you’ve got.
Afterparty
When we get back from Harvest of Hope, we’ll head back to Upslope for pizza on us. Beers are available for purchase at the bar. We’ll announce the prize winners there.
What to bring
- A bike in good working order and a helmet
- A bag, backpack, panniers, basket, or trailer, whatever you’ll use to haul groceries
- A lock (you’ll be running into a store)
- About $25 for groceries (spend more if you can, it all goes to the pantry)
Good to know
- Registration is free. Every dollar you spend goes straight into food for Harvest of Hope.
- We'll be sharing the bike paths and roads with other folks. Follow traffic laws, ride predictably, and be kind to drivers and pedestrians.
